Spring came to Potsdam last week with very warm temperatures and lots of sun! It was a great week being outside and enjoying the warmth of the sun after some rather cold weeks since we arrived here. Spring feeling infected many people here in Potsdam as they sit outside of cafés and bars and eat enormous amounts of ice cream at air temperatures where people in Taiwan would still wear down jackets. This shows how differently people perceive temperatures depending on a countries climate.
On Friday evening, I ordered Kamil to come home on time at 6 pm (... well, of course it was a bit later until he really was at home...) and prepared some sandwiches and yummy food, nicely packed in a pick nick basket. I even thought of preparing a bottle of beer for my best husband! And off we went to the Babelsberg Park to enjoy a pick nick watching the sunset over the river Havel.
Anna's first touch-down on green moss:

It can also turn into a Napoleon's hat...
... or a pirate's hat!
